After a good rain, this relatively unknown hollow in Hocking Hills, Ohio has a very impressive 90’+ (27m) waterfall and it’s easy to reach. On my last visit it was really flowing and I tried something new to try and capture it – 360 video!
On a recent visit to Hocking Hills, I took along a panoramic tripod head and a fisheye lens to create a 360 degree interactive photo. The results are good enough for me to want to create more of these virtual tours of the Ohio adventure spots I explore.
There’s a fifth publicly accessible waterfall on the west side of Columbus – Indian Village Canyon Falls near Duranceaux Park. Detailed directions are at the bottom of this post.
Not far from Old Man’s Cave in Hocking Hills, Ohio is another, less well known, deep gorge called Red Rock Hollow. After reading about it a couple years ago, I’ve been eager to try and find it. Recently I went with @big4ord and @jbigford to check it out. We had a flawless late-Spring morning to explore this fantastic part of Hocking Hills.
