After seeing the sky I could capture over Blendon Woods right when the park opens at 6:30 AM, I went back to try an Exposed To The Right (ETTR) time lapse over the stars moving over the park’s goldenrod meadow.

I am mildly red/green colorblind which isn’t great for an amateur landscape photographer. Earlier this year I got a pair of Enchroma color correcting glasses and this is the first autumn I’ve gotten to see in full color. It’s freakin’ awesome!
Blendon Woods Metro Park opens at 6:30 AM. In mid October in Ohio the sun rises at about 7:30 AM. How can you enjoy photographing fall colors before the dawn? Bring a camera, a tripod and a 2,000,000 candle power flashlight.
After scouting another potential astrophotography spot in Hocking Hills, Ohio, I went to nearby Cedar Falls. There were no falls.
