Autumn in Ohio tends to be too dry to photograph creeks and waterfalls. Indian Run Falls in Dublin, Ohio is large enough to still have a good flow in some sections.

I am mildly red/green colorblind which isn’t great for an amateur landscape photographer. Earlier this year I got a pair of Enchroma color correcting glasses and this is the first autumn I’ve gotten to see in full color. It’s freakin’ awesome!
After scouting another potential astrophotography spot in Hocking Hills, Ohio, I went to nearby Cedar Falls. There were no falls. It’s been so dry that there was barely a drop of water where the waterfall should be. I took the opportunity to photograph Cedar Interesting-Shaped-Cliff and a dry creek bed. It only took me three visits to get a couple good shots and a decent time lapse from the kayak ramp at Alum Creek Lake. There’s something about a long exposure sunrise that grabs me.
