After a couple days of gray skies and high temperatures below freezing, we got a bright, sunny but still properly cold day. I grabbed my gear and drove down to Hocking Hills to find a waterfall I hadn’t seen before. Seize the cold!
We had an unusually heavy fog recently and I went to Blendon Woods metro park to photograph it. I brought along a battery powered LED light I usually use for macro photography and had some fun light painting.

After a good November rain, Hayden Falls and Indian Run Falls in Dublin, Ohio had very strong flows. Even on an overcast late autumn day, the waterfalls were worth the effort. Although there was still some scattered fall color, the soft gray atmosphere did make me want to try some black and white shots.
