Ripple Creek

This is my favorite spot in Blendon Woods Park. Even in the drab, brown time between Winter and Spring, a composition can be found.

Because the snow has melted but hardly anything is green yet, I composed this shot to frame the creek and have the bright green moss in the foreground. This is five 20 second exposures taken with a 10 stop ND filter at f5.6 and focus stacked in Photoshop. A cross process filter enhances the blues and greens and hopefully conveys the mood of the scene.
