Rothko Lone Tree

The sunset was very muted so rather than shoot it directly I found a lone tree sticking through the thin ice in a swollen Hoover Reservoir. After a little tweaking in Lightroom, it gave me the impression of a Mark Rothko painting. I’ve avoided lone tree pictures until now, but maybe they’re worthwhile despite the cliche.
